Ilana & Jonathan’s Engagement Photos at The Salty Donut & Wynwood Arts District, Miami

I spend the majority of my year photographing families, weddings and events in the Central Florida area (Orlando/Tampa) but I do have plenty of clients in the South Florida area as well. Ilana and Jonathan are getting married this summer in Boca Raton, so I made an extra trip down there this weekend to take their engagement photos and get to know them better as a couple. We are SO ready for the wedding day!

Ilana and Jonathan have a shared love for donuts, the arts and their sweet pup Macy. So it was only fitting that all of these things were incorporated into their engagement photos!

We started at their house so Ms. Macy could steal the show. Word on the street is that Macy doesn’t like having her photo taken but she looks pretty stinking adorable to me!

We jumped in the car and headed straight to The Salty Donut, because, well, donuts.

I didn't want to stand between Jonathan and his breakfast so we just let him dig in before we got started. :)

Ilana and Johnathan are just so cute together so they really made my job *very* easy. Also, it's hard to not look happy when you're chowing down on those yummy donuts! I want to thank The Salty Donut for giving us permission to take these photographs in the first place. If you've ever been there, you know the line typically wraps out the door and around the building. Miraculously we got there with only a few people ahead of us and then just as we were paying a large group vacated this table! It was so perfect!
